BWU conducted a workshop at the Women's March Convention in Detroit. We were one of only two groups selected to present on local activism, and among very few all-volunteer groups. BWU Steering Committee members Denise Gilmore, Phylicia Porter, Jessica Klaitman, and Odette Ramos led a workshop to guide other women on how to increase political engagement where they live.
